challenge

The Mid-Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers (MACHC) is dedicated to supporting Community Health Centers in Delaware and Maryland. Community Health Centers deliver comprehensive, high-quality primary medical, behavioral, and dental health care to those most in need.

They wanted an updated promotional video that was easily digestible and could better target aspiring professionals coming out of college, seasoned professionals looking to leave/retire from large health organizations, and community change-makers who desire to make a difference at the ground level.

solution

We produced a 2:30 min promotional video (compared to the original 18 min video used previously) where we interviewed current community center employees, ranging from entry-level health professionals to doctors, and shot all our footage at a local center. The newly formatted video showcased the message of community-focused healthcare and the significance of having a closer connection to patients.

my role

I was responsible for planning and facilitating shoot setup and equipment needs. Working closely with our Creative Director I provided input on scheduling and coordinated crew needs. On-site I took lead on cinematography and sound recording. Following production, I edited together the footage from our interviews to hit home the mission and community benefits of MACHC centers.

All interviews were captured at one community health center using an assortment of facilities. Four different interviews were conducted from varying levels of expertise in the healthcare industry to show the diversity and range of possibilities.
